The 1060 aluminum sheet, with an aluminum content of 99.6%, is also known as pure aluminum sheet and is a commonly used series in aluminum sheets. Advantages of this series include: being a more commonly used series, a relatively simple production process, mature technology, and a significant price advantage over alloy aluminum sheets.
It has good elongation and tensile strength, making it suitable for regular processing requirements (stamping, stretching), and it has high formability.
The 1060 aluminum sheet is considered industrial pure aluminum, with high plasticity, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, and thermal conductivity, but it has low strength, cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and has poor machinability. It can be gas welded, hydrogen atom welded, and spot welded, but it is difficult to solder. It is easy to withstand various pressure processing, stretching, and bending.
1060 aluminum sheets are commonly used for signs, billboards, building exterior decorations, bus bodies, high-rise and factory wall decorations, kitchen sinks, lamp holders, fan blades, electronic components, chemical instruments, thin sheet components, deep drawing or spinning hollow vessels, welded parts, heat exchangers, clock faces and dials, namesheets, kitchenware, decorations, reflectors, CTP/PS sheet bases, chemical storage tanks, aluminum busbars, and more.
